Lahore (June 17, 2017) A large number of Dengue workers from Sheikhupura staged protest demonstration outside Punjab Assembly (PA) against non-payment of salaries for last 10 months.
The protestors were of the view that they were compelled to stage protest demonstration outside the provincial assembly after deputy commissioner Sheikhupura even refused to listen their demands. Above 600 employees of Dengue Control Program were deprived of salaries for last 10 months in Sheikhupura, the protestors added.
The protestors demanded of Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Sheikhupura Deputy Commissioner and concerned authorities to resolve their issues as soon as possible.
