FC Foils Major Terror Bid in Bajaur Agency

Peshawar (July 9, 2017): Frontier Corps (FC) conducted raid in Bajaur Agency under Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad and foiled a major terror bid on Saturday.

Sources said that FC personnel on a tip-off conducted raid at Gatagara area of Mamond district in KP and recovered a huge cache of arms ,ammunition and explosive material from the hideout of terrorists.

FC recover two improvised explosive device (IED), 38 safety fuses, 8 remote controlled bombs, 8 hand grenades, 7 kilogram explosive material, one SMG silencer and 6 books on bomb-making techniques from the terrorists’ hideout.

FC apprehended a terrorists’ facilitator during the raid and shifted him to an unidentified place for further interrogation.
