Significant Development Made in Chinese Couple Abduction Case

Islamabad (June 15, 2017): Foreign Ministry has revoked the visa of owner of Urdu Academy Korean citizen Juan Wan Sew alias Gulbert following receiving the significant clue in the Chinese couple kidnapping case, who were abducted from Quetta on May 24.
Interior Ministry sources told that during the investigation regarding Chinese couple kidnapping it was revealed that Korean citizen Juan Wan Sew alias Gulbert came Pakistan on business trip and opened an institute with the name of Urdu Academy, however he found indulged in illegal activities on which his visa has suspended.
It was also surfaced that few months ago interior ministry had offered provision of security to some Chinese citizens in Khorotabad, however they refused to take security.
On the other hand, security and intelligence agencies are investigating and reviewing the background and the social media picture of the incident to reach any logical end. They are also investigating either abducted Chinese couple was killed or not.
Few dayas ago Home Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfaraz Bugti had claimed that it was 99 percent confirmed that Chinese couple, abducted last month from Quetta has been murdered.
Talking to Media in Quetta, Bugti told that the video released by the militant Islamic State purporting to show the killing of two Chinese nationals last month has confirmed “99 per cent” that the duo was murdered.
On May 24, Two Chinese nationals, a man and a woman, were kidnapped from the Jinnah Town area of Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan, on Wednesday. According to police, unknown abductors had forced the two foreigners into a vehicle at gunpoint and driven away.
