PM to Emerge Victorious in Accountability Process: Maryam

Islamabad (June 17, 2017): Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb on Saturday said that the Prime Minister would emerge victorious and come clean in the ongoing accountability process.

Talking to media, the minister said that the Prime Minister had presented himself and his entire family for accountability which was a milestone for rule of law and strengthening of democracy.

She said that the Prime Minister had reinforced rule of law and supremacy of constitution by appearing before the JIT.

She added that Nawaz Sharif accountability was also done in Musharraf tenure and during PPP’s governments.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said the way the prime minister has presented himself before the law and constitution, the PTI chairman should also appear before the courts.

She added that Imran was declared proclaimed offender by court for not appearing before it.
