PDWP Approves 7 Uplifting Schemes of Road Sector
Lahore (June 16, 2017): Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) has approved seven development schemes of road sector worth four point four eight (4.48) billion rupees.
The schemes were approved in the meeting of Provincial Development Working Party of fiscal year 2016-17 in Lahore on Friday.
The schemes are dualization of Road Jandiala Sher Khan Hiran Minaar, Minaar Road to Chichoki Mallian, District Sheikhupura. Construction of Flyover at Shahabpura Chowk Defence Road Sialkot, District Sialkot. Rehabilitation and construction of road from Kotmomin Bhabrah Road to Thathi Noor , District Sargodha and widening and reconstruction of Rawat to Jorrian road, District Rawalpindi.
It also includes rehabilitation and widening of road from Buchal Kalan to Lillah, District Chakwal, Dual Carriageway from Allah-Abad (Old Tehsil Head Quarter) to Liaquatpur (New Tehsil Head Quarter), District Rahim Yar Khan and construction of Additional Ring Road Bahawalpur Railway Station to Bino Cancer Hospital, Bahawalpur.
