Lahore (June 16, 2017): Pakistan Railways has decided to procure new specific locomotives for shunting purpose to increase revenue and improve performance.
The decision was taken at a meeting in Lahore on Friday with Chairperson of Pakistan Railways Parveen Agha in the chair.
The meeting was apprised that existing locomotives are fifty to fifty five years old and most of these have completed their life.
