Interpol HQ Seeks Altaf Hussain residential legality in UK
London (June 15, 2017): Following the interior ministry request to Interpol for the issuance of red warrant of MQM founder Altaf Hussain a significant development made as Interpol Headquarters asked the UK Interpol to apprised it regarding the legal aspects of the Altaf Hussain residence in UK.
Interpol Headquarters has contacted UK Interpol and asked the details of the legal position of Altaf Hussain residence in UK.
In its request for red warrant of Altaf Hussain, FIA told the Interpol that Altaf Hussain is most wanted to Pakistan’s court in criminal cases.
On June 9, After removing the objections raised by the Interpol Interior ministry had filed a new plea for the issuance of arrest warrant of MQM founder Altaf Hussain.
Once again government is trying to tight he rope against the MQM founder and efforts for issuance of red warrant have been speed up. Interior ministry has again contacted Interpol filing flaw less application for issuance of red warrant.
Sources told that Interior ministry has fulfilled all the legal requirement of the Interpol procedure.
An Interpol notice is an international alert circulated to communicate information about crimes, criminals and threats from police in a member state or an authorised international entity to their counterparts around the world.
There are eight types of notices, seven of which are colour-coded by their function: red, blue, green, yellow, black, orange and purple. The most well-known is the red notice which is the closest instrument to an international arrest warrant in use today. The eighth — special notice — is issued at the request of the United Nations Security Council.
As a matter of policy, Interpol only publishes a notice that adheres to all the proper legal conditions. For example, a notice will not be published if it violates Interpol’s constitution, which forbids the organisation from undertaking activities of a political, military, religious, or racial character.
