Lahore (June 17, 2017): Over 70 feeder of Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) on Saturday tripped, as heavy rain lashed Lahore on Saturday.
Lahore received heavy rains on Saturday which led to tripping to several feeders of Lesco. Following the rain, many areas of the city are without electricity.
On the other hand, Lesco management has issued directives to restore power supply on the routes of Youm-e-Ali’s processions on urgent basis.
It is to be mentioned here that many cities of Punjab including Lahore received heavy rains on Saturday morning which turned weather pleasant.
Lahore, Sialkot, Kasur, Layyah, Bhakkar, Sharqpoor, Pindibhattian, Hafizabad and Kalabagh received heavy rains coupled with thunder storms.
